Berlin's 10-point plan for becoming Germany's digital capital

Berlin Technical University's Brainbox presents vision of Berlin as Germany's digital capital.

Where does Berlin's future lie? What are the city's most exciting projects and how are they contributing to sustainable urban development? The CHORA city & energy department of Berlin Technical University is behind the "Brainbox" - a 33-foot-high interactive installation and mobile "Berlin Laboratory" that is designed to convey the innovative ideas that will shape Berlin's future and allow visitors to analyze and debate them in a fun and engaging manner.

The keynote theme for the BrainBox is the new 10-point plan for transforming Berlin into Germany's digital capital. On each day, from 12 noon to 2 p.m., there will be a program of short presentations and "lunchtime talks". Outside of this time slot, a series of live demonstrations and exhibits, serious games and artistic performances will continuously engage the visiting industry professionals and delegations. One of the key objectives of the installation is to show how digital tools can be used to make urban planning more open.
