Symposium for local authorities (8 – 9 April 2014)
Local authorities are faced with a set of new challenges – managing democratic change, adapting the infrastructure to climate changes, and developing concepts designed to safeguard critical infrastructure. The overarching goal is to ensure the sustainability of cities and municipalities.
These issues will be on the agenda at the symposium “Living in future-proof municipalities” on 8th and 9th April 2014 under the umbrella of Metropolitan Solutions. This symposium will be staged by Deutsche Messe with the support of the German Association of Cities and the German Association of Towns and Municipalities (DStGB).
Deutsche Messe furthermore offers guided information tours relating to the display categories at Metropolitan Solutions and HANNOVER MESSE. This offer is available to all participants of the symposium.
